We've all heard of vegetarians and vegans, but most people don't know about fruitarians or flexitarians. These days it seems like everyone is on some kind of diet or lifestyle change. Whether you're doing it for health, religious, environmental, or cultural reasons; hopefully you'll find the information you need to get you started right here!
1. What is a fruitarian?
A person who eats 100% raw fruit, however some fruitarians consume nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains. Vegetables are sometimes consumed in small portions. Although, true fruitarians tend to stick with only fruit. Some choose fruitarianism for health reasons. Others believe it's the diet for mankind, starting with the Garden of Eden. Most fruitarians choose not to eat vegetables because it involves the killing of a plant.

A person whose diet is mostly vegetarian; yet sometimes they eat meat, poultry, and/or fish. Some call themselves Semi-Vegetarians. They can choose when and how much meat to consume. Some may eat meat once a day, once a month, or on special occassions. Some choose this diet to help them ease into a vegetarian or vegan diet.
