We've all heard of vegetarians and vegans, but most people don't know about fruitarians or flexitarians. These days it seems like everyone is on some kind of diet or lifestyle change. Whether you're doing it for health, religious, environmental, or cultural reasons; hopefully you'll find the information you need to get you started right here!
1. What is a fruitarian?
A person who eats 100% raw fruit, however some fruitarians consume nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains. Vegetables are sometimes consumed in small portions. Although, true fruitarians tend to stick with only fruit. Some choose fruitarianism for health reasons. Others believe it's the diet for mankind, starting with the Garden of Eden. Most fruitarians choose not to eat vegetables because it involves the killing of a plant.

On Thanksgiving 2011, my Aunt posted on Facebook all what she had eaten that day. Assuming she continued to consume leftovers the next couple days after with a mix of stress and alcohol and the result was her third stroke and then death. She’d survived 2 strokes and breast cancer, but her body could take no more.
People are not eating healthy these days; maybe because it’s cheaper to eat junk food or the taste alone is enough to make some of us put away the thought of eating healthy. Even though healthy food tastes incredible and so many recipes can be found to substitute your favorite unhealthy meals. The doctor did not prescribe you medicine for you to continue to eat and live unhealthy. It’s not okay to consume food loaded with salt and simply swallow your blood pressure medication and leave it to deal with your body’s reaction to the food.
It’s not easy to change your eating habits, but it is possible and you will benefit from it. I haven’t eaten pork or red meat in since 2007. I rarely consume sweets and salty snacks, but when I do it's done in moderation. You can give up all the unhealthy stuff, but if you must have it, just don’t have it everyday and not a lot of it.
Here are some health tips that I have for you. It’s not just about losing weight, it’s about obtaining a healthy lifestyle!
Signs of a stroke:
There are many health benefits of coconut water for both athletes and everyday people. It's especially great after a workout, for quick hydration; great for those with high blood pressure, as it provides over 500mg of potassium. Not to mention it has no added sugars and lower acidity than most sports drinks.
Coconut water also kills intestinal worms, if taken with a teaspoon of olive oil for three days; helps breaks up kidney stones, in addition to taking medication; and reduces urinary problems. It also controls vomiting and is good to drink during a hangover.
